Requires a local transportation regulatory agency to review school safety plans for traffic and transportation issues prior to the issuance of a building permit for a new school facility or the expansion or renovation of an existing school facility.
Relates to providing medically accurate instruction regarding human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) in all elementary and secondary schools.
Requires the commissioner of education to make recommendations to the board of regents relating to the adoption of instruction in climate science in senior high schools.
