Establishes a senior dental services grant program; authorizes the director to establish the program and, upon the availability of appropriations, provide grants to eligible elderly persons who are in need of such services.
Provides for insurance reimbursement for expenses related to the provision of personal protective equipment (PPE) for direct care workers, care recipients and an emergency inventory of a ninety-day supply of PPE.
Relates to the period of limitation for the prosecution of sex offenses committed against children; such actions may be commenced within 15 years after such child has reached the age of 18.
Authorizes retail clinics to provide certain services; directs the commissioner of health to enact regulations imposing certain standards and restrictions.
Relates to extending certain filing deadlines for the industrial and commercial abatement program by authorizing the department of finance to accept certain applications for an additional three months.
Amends provisions to improve accessibility of home care services, develop and maintain a qualified workforce, develop a comprehensive public education program and approve rates of reimbursement under medicaid for home care services that support the provision of those services.
Allocates fines imposed on real estate appraisers to the anti-discrimination in housing fund; provides that a fine not exceeding two thousand dollars may be imposed on real estate appraisers for certain acts or omissions.
Allows a notice of dense breast tissue to be considered a determination of medical necessity for purposes of coverage of breast ultrasounds as recommended by a provider of mammography services.
Enacts the "just energy transition act"; requires a study of competitive options to facilitate the phase-out, replacement and redevelopment of New York state's oldest and most-polluting fossil fueled generation facilities and their sites by the year 2030.
Directs the department of state and the public service commission to study and report upon the prevalence of the disclosure by public utilities, cable television companies and cellular telephone service providers to credit reporting agencies of late payments and defaults in payment of fees and charges by consumers.
Requires the chief administrator of the office of court administration to establish a searchable public database providing information regarding eviction proceedings in the state; directs the chief administrator to adopt rules directing village, town or other local courts to report their eviction proceeding data to the office of court administration.
Prohibits fees for any service rendered through a banking organization relating to the use of an electronic benefit transfer card issued by the state or certain departments or agencies thereof.
