Directs the canal corporation to create a chart to identify, map and model normal and flood water flows in the Oswego river basin and the Mohawk river basin and report on the completed chart by July 1, 2025; requires the updating of such chart every five years to account for any changes in the normal and flood water flows.
Relates to the entitlement to unpaid leave of absence for victims of domestic violence; permits victims of domestic violence to take an unpaid leave of absence for twenty days from employment to address on-going domestic violence; defines "address on-going domestic violence"; contains provision to protect the individual's job position and benefits.
Requires health insurance plans to provide coverage for medically necessary epinephrine auto-injector devices; caps the out-of-pocket cost of the co-pay or deductible for such epi-pens at sixty dollars.
Requires that policy provisions regarding supplemental spousal liability insurance apply only to policies issued or delivered to an insured who is married.
Prohibits the governor, the legislature and state agencies from imposing residential housing zoning requirements on local governments without approval from the local government.
Prohibits a municipality from relocating migrants from such municipality to another municipality in New York unless and until a resolution authorizing the relocation has been adopted by the governing bodies of both the municipality to which the migrants are to be relocated and the county in which the receiving municipality is located; mandates written notice prior to location; provides for a fine for violations.
Directs the metropolitan transportation authority, in consultation with the Long Island Rail Road, to establish a no fare program for transportation on the Long Island Rail Road for individuals in active military service of the United States and active duty members of the New York national guard, upon showing a military or national guard identification card.
Extends the duration of certain brownfield redevelopment and remediation tax credits with respect to a site located within the Renaissance Commerce Park situate within the city of Lackawanna, Erie county.
Repeals provisions relating to resolutions of disputes in the course of collective negotiations with certain deputy sheriffs to provide such deputy sheriffs with the same interest arbitration scope as municipal police officers.
Provides that schools, child day cares, day care centers, or community based organizations which support activities for children under the age of eighteen can not serve as a shelter for migrants.
