O'DONNELL -- read once and referred to the Committee on Housing AN ACT to amend the public housing law, in relation to playground equip- ment installed or maintained by the New York city housing authority The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. The public housing law is amended by adding a new section 2 402-g to read as follows: 3 § 402-g. Installation and maintenance of playground equipment. Any 4 pre-existing or new playground equipment installed or maintained by the 5 authority shall substantially comply with the guidelines and criteria 6 contained in the handbook for public playground safety produced by the 7 United States Consumer Products Safety Commission or any successor ther- 8 eof. 9 § 2.
