Section 2 of chapter 676 of the laws of 1978, amending the 2 town law relating to payment in lieu of taxes for certain property in 3 the town of Hempstead, as amended by chapter 86 of the laws of 2018, is 4 amended to read as follows: 5 § 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 1978 and shall be operative 6 only to and including June 30, [2023] 2025. 7 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
