ROSENTHAL -- read once and referred to the Committee on Education -- committee discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation to requiring schools to provide teachers with written informational material on the use of epinephrine auto-injectors The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 921-a of the education law is amended by adding a 2 new subdivision 3 to read as follows: 3 3. School districts, boards of cooperative educational services, 4 county vocational education and extension boards, charter schools, and 5 non-public elementary and secondary schools in this state that are 6 authorized to provide and maintain epinephrine auto-injectors on-site 7 pursuant to this section shall provide all teachers with written infor- 8 mational material on the use of an epinephrine auto-injector that has 9 been created and approved by the commissioner of health. 10 § 2.
