HARCKHAM -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Transportation -- commit- tee discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recom- mitted to said committee AN ACT in relation to authorizing a study pertaining to traffic flow and safety of State Route 35 and State Route 202 from the Hudson River to the border of Connecticut; and providing for the repeal of such provisions upon expiration thereof The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. The department of transportation is hereby authorized and 2 directed to conduct a study pertaining to traffic flow and safety of 3 State Route 35 and State Route 202 from the Hudson River to the border 4 of Connecticut. Such study shall include the bear mountain state parkway 5 in Yorktown, the town of Cortlandt and the city of Peekskill located in 6 Westchester county. 7 1. The department shall study the current conditions and data to 8 ensure the safe and effective traffic flow of State Route 35 and State 9 Route 202. 10 2. The department of transportation shall report such findings to the 11 governor and the legislature within one year after the effective date of 12 this act. 13 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire one year 14 after it shall have become a law when upon such date the provisions of 15 this act shall be deemed repealed.
