KENNEDY -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Finance -- committee discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee AN ACT to amend the executive law, in relation to requiring discrimi- nation, bias, and harassment prevention training for members of state boards and commissions The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. The executive law is amended by adding a new section 170-g 2 to read as follows: 3 § 170-g. Discrimination, bias, and harassment prevention training. 4 Every member of each state board or commission, whether or not such 5 member is compensated, shall complete discrimination, bias, and harass- 6 ment prevention training on an annual basis. Such training shall be in 7 compliance with section two hundred one-g of the labor law. 8 § 2. This act shall take effect on the ninetieth day after it shall 9 have become a law. Effective immediately, the addition, amendment and/or 10 repeal of any rule or regulation necessary for the implementation of 11 this act on its effective date are authorized to be made and completed 12 on or before such effective date.
