HARCKHAM -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Local Government AN ACT to amend the local finance law, in relation to providing a period of probable usefulness for solar arrays and panels The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Paragraph a of section 11.00 of the local finance law is 2 amended by adding a new subdivision 111 to read as follows: 3 111. Solar arrays and panels. The acquisition, construction or recon- 4 struction of or addition to a solar array or solar panel system, whether 5 or not including buildings, land or rights in land, original 6 furnishings, equipment, machinery or apparatus, or the replacement of 7 such equipment, machinery or apparatus, thirty years. 8 § 2.
