SCARCELLA-SPANTON -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Cities 1 AN ACT to amend the New York city charter, in relation to authorizing the New York city council to determine annual rental payments charged to the New York city water board The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 28 of the New York city charter is amended by 2 adding a new subdivision h to read as follows: 3 h. The council shall make an annual determination no later than Febru- 4 ary first, whether a base rental payment for the system pursuant to the 5 lease agreement between the city of New York and the New York city water 6 board is required and, if required, the amount thereof. 7 § 2.
