  STATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 9485  IN SENATE May 16, 2024 ___________ Introduced by Sen. CLEARE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Commerce, Economic Devel- opment and Small Business AN ACT to authorize the empire state development corporation to rescind any approved general project plan for non-compliance with agreements made thereto The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of law, rule or regulation to 2 the contrary, the empire state development corporation is authorized to 3 rescind any general project plan approved by such corporation for non- 4 compliance with any agreements made as part of such general project 5 plan, including, but not limited to, community benefits agreements. 6 § 2.
