Authorizes physicians licensed to practice in other jurisdictions and who hold certification in obstetrics or gynecology from the American board of obstetrics and gynecology to practice in this state.
Provides that no person shall be eligible for appointment as a police officer who was previously employed as a police officer and who: was dismissed for malfeasance or other serious misconduct calling into question such person's fitness to serve as a police officer; or resigned or retired from such officer's position while under investigation for such malfeasance or other serious misconduct; defines terms; makes related provisions.
Provides that restaurants and third-party food delivery service may provide single-use food service items to customers when explicitly requested by the customer; prohibits certain plastic single-use items.
Changes the state fiscal year from April first to June first with such fiscal year ending the next following thirty-first day of May; changes time frames for school district elections and notice of elections and submission of a property tax report card.
Constitutes chapter 28-A of the consolidated laws as the interstate authorities law; continues all operations of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey; repeals chapters relating to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
Establishes the biometric privacy act; requires private entities in possession of biometric identifiers or biometric information to develop a written policy establishing a retention schedule and guidelines for permanently destroying biometric identifiers and biometric information when the initial purpose for collecting or obtaining such identifiers or information has been satisfied or within three years of the individual's last interaction with the private entity, whichever occurs first.
