Exempts income earned by a head of household or any person in the household from certain job training or adult education programs from the determination of need for public assistance programs.
Requires state agencies to make available all public documents in a digital format on their website in a manner that allows such documents to be printed; provides that no document required by law to remain confidential shall be deemed a public document.
Provides for the remote conduct of certain practices and procedures including meetings and notarizations utilizing electronic and/or audio-visual technologies.
Extends the statute of limitations of actions related to certain sex trafficking offenses, reviving such actions otherwise barred by the existing statute of limitations; grants trial preference to such actions; exempts such actions from certain provisions requiring notice of claims.
Provides that a board of education or a board of cooperative educational services shall have the authority to award contracts for school food services on the basis of certain scoring criteria.
Relates to campaign contribution limits on corporations; provides that all controlled corporations (subsidiaries) as defined by the IRS code shall be considered one corporation for the purposes of contribution limits; requires the treasurer of a political committee, other than a party committee, to identify and disclose the economic or other special interests of a majority of its contributors and/or organizers and the identity of any common employer or organizer.
Requires legislators and candidates for members of the legislature to provide a link to their financial disclosure statements on their official state and campaign websites which shall direct website visitors to the current financial disclosure form that the legislator has submitted.
Requires the state comptroller, the attorney general and independent certified public accountants to conduct an annual audit of the office of cannabis management.
Creates a department of health education and outreach program on reproductive health services for consumers, patients, educators, and health care providers related to reproductive health services available in New York state including, but not limited to: access to family planning services such as contraceptives and pregnancy testing, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections; makes related provisions.
Relates to false or misleading advertisements of food and food products; provides factors to determine whether an advertisement is false or misleading; provides for enforcement and a private right of action.
