VANEL -- read once and referred to the Committee on Codes AN ACT to amend the penal law, in relation to assault in the second degree The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 120.05 of the penal law is amended by adding a new 2 subdivision 15 to read as follows: 3 15. With the intent to cause physical injury to a person employed as a 4 motor vehicle license examiner by the department of motor vehicles 5 performing their lawful duties or in relation to their lawful duties, 6 such principal person causes physical injury to such employee. 7 § 2. This act shall take effect on the first of November next succeed- 8 ing the date on which it shall have become a law.
