HEVESI -- read once and referred to the Committee on Children and Families AN ACT to amend the social services law, in relation to eliminating penalties for mandated reporters that fail to report; and repealing certain provisions of such law relating thereto The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 420 of the social services law is REPEALED. 2 § 2. Subdivision 3 of section 491 of the social services law is 3 REPEALED. 4 § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
