Changes the early voting period for general, primary, run-off primary and special elections for public office or party position; maintains the current early voting period for general elections in a year in which electors of president and vice president of the United States are to be elected.
Permits boards of elections to change the date of a primary election within fourteen days of an election if such election date conflicts with a religious holiday.
Establishes a ranked choice voting method to be implemented by local governments for use in general elections, special elections and primaries within the state.
