Prohibits any local police department, county sheriff's office, the division of the state police or any agency that employs a peace officer in this state from participating in the 1033 federal excess property program for the purposes of receiving lethal or offensive weapons.
Prohibits a law enforcement agency from receiving or purchasing the following property from a military equipment surplus program operated by the federal government: drones that are armored, weaponized, or both; aircraft that are combat configured or combat coded; grenades or similar explosives and grenade launchers; silencers; militarized armored vehicles; camouflage uniforms; bayonets; riot gear; firearms or ammunition; explosives or pyrotechnics; or chemical incapacitants; defines terms; makes related provisions.
