The public authorities law is amended by adding a new 2 section 1270-k to read as follows: 3 <B><U>§ 1270-k. Fire extinguishers. 1. The authority shall install one</U></B> 4 <B><U>encased, alarmed and publicly accessible fire extinguisher inside every</U></B> 5 <B><U>subway station.</U></B> 6 <B><U>2. The authority shall install one encased, alarmed and publicly</U></B> 7 <B><U>accessible fire extinguisher in each subway car and bus.</U></B> 8 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
