No. 10 2025-2026 Senator Wilson Cosponsors: Senators Blessing, Ingram A R E S O L U T I O N Honoring the St. Ursula Academy girls volleyball team on winning the 2024 Division II State Championship. WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to salute the St. Ursula Academy girls volleyball team as the 2024 Division II State Champion; and WHEREAS, Establishing a reputation for its skill and tenacity, the St. Ursula Academy girls volleyball team is an impressive group of athletes whose talent and teamwork are unmatched. At the 2024 Division II State Championship, the squad seized the title in five sets against a tough Anthony Wayne High School team, claiming its ninth such crown in program history, and this victory will be celebrated for many years to come; and WHEREAS, The members of the St. Ursula Academy girls volleyball team rose to the occasion and proved themselves to be a dynamic force in high school sports. Truly, these outstanding athletes can be proud of the accomplishments that were hard-won and deserved throughout the 2024 season; and WHEREAS, By remaining faithful to the highest standards of sportsmanship and teamwork, the members of the St. Ursula Academy girls volleyball team primed themselves under the guidance of Coach Gretchen Krumdieck to reach their full potential.
