55	52		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
56	53		SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 5 9 O.S. 2011, Section 1607, as
57	54		last amended by Section 1, Chapter 463, O.S.L. 2019 (59 O.S. Supp.
58	55		2020, Section 1607), is amended to read as follows:
59	56		Section 1607. A. There is hereby re -created, to continue until
60	57		July 1, 2021 2024, in accordance with the provisions of the Oklahoma
61	58		Sunset Law, the Board of Examiners for Speech -Language Pathology and
62	59		Audiology whose duty it is to administer the provisions of the
63	60		Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Licensing Act. The members
64	61		of the Board shall be residen ts of this state and shall be appointed
65	62		by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate. The

93		-	Board shall be composed of five (5) members consisting of three
94	90		licensed speech-language pathologists or audiologists, provided that
95	91		at least one of the three shall be a licensed speech -language
96	92		pathologist and at least one a licensed audiologist; one
97	93		otolaryngologist who is certified by the American Board of
98	94		Otolaryngology and one lay member.
99	95		B. The members of the original Board shall serve the followin g
100	96		terms: one member for one (1) year, two members for two (2) years,
101	97		and two members for three (3) years. Thereafter, at the expiration
102	98		of the term, or termination of the member 's service for any reason,
103	99		the Governor shall appoint each successor for a te rm of three (3)
104	100		years, or for the remainder of an unexpired term. The successor for
105	101		any of the three speech -language pathologists or audiologists will
106	102		be selected from a list of five licensed speech -language
107	103		pathologists or audiologists, furnished by the Oklahoma Speech-
108	104		Language-Hearing Association. The re -creation of the Board shall
109	105		not affect the staggered terms of office for Board members
110	106		established with the original Board.
111	107		C. Before entering upon the duties of the member 's office, each
112	108		member of the Board shall take the Constitutional oath of office and
113	109		file it with the Secretary of State.
114	110		D. Board members may be reappointed to serve one additional
115	111		three-year term. Three (3) years after the termination of a
	112	+	previous appointment to the Board, a memb er may be reappointed for
	113	+	one additional three -year term.

145	140		E. Board members shall be reimbursed for travel expenses
