50	50	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
51	51	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be cod ified
52	52	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1201 of Title 60, unless there
53	53	is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
54	54	This act shall be known and may be cited as the "Oklahoma Home
55	55	Builders Best Practice Act of 2021".
56	56	SECTION 2. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
57	57	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1202 of Title 60, unless there
58	58	is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
59	59	As used in this act:
60	60	1. "Home builder" means anyone who contracts for and supe rvises
61	61	construction of new residential houses ; and

88	88	2. "Homeowner" means anyone who owns and purchased a
89	89	residential house built by the home builder.
90	90	SECTION 3. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
91	91	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1203 of Title 60, unless there
92	92	is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
93	93	This act shall require all home builders to meet with or contact
94	94	a homeowner within forty-eight (48) hours of receiving a written
95	95	request from a homeowner requesting a meeting with the home builder.
96	96	SECTION 4. This act shall become effective November 1, 2021.
