| 53 | 53 | SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 26 O.S. 2011, Se ction 5-110, is | |
| 54 | 54 | amended to read as follows: | |
| 55 | 55 | Section 5-110. A. Declarations of Candidacy provided herein | |
| 56 | 56 | must be filed with the secretary of the appropriate election board | |
| 57 | 57 | no earlier than 8:00 a.m. on the second Wednesday of April of any | |
| 58 | 58 | even-numbered year and no later than 5:00 p.m. on the next | |
| 59 | 59 | succeeding Friday. Such Declarations of Candidacy may be | |
| 60 | 60 | transmitted by United States mail, but in no event shall the | |
| 61 | 61 | secretary of any election board accept such Declarations after the | |
| 62 | 62 | time prescribed by law. | |
