4340 An Act relating to law enforcement officers; making
4441 certain acts unlawful; providing penalties; defining
4542 terms; providing for codification; and providing an

5148 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5249 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
5350 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1176 of Title 21, unless there
5451 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
5552 A. It shall be unlawful for a person, who by telecommunication
5653 or electronic communication, as defined in Section 1172 of Title 21
5754 of the Oklahoma Statutes, to willfully publish on a public online
5855 site or forum, attempt to publish or conspire to publish on a public
5956 online site or forum personally identifiable information of a law
6057 enforcement officer with the intent to threaten, intimidate, harass
6158 or stalk, and, as a result, causes, attempts to cause or would be
6259 reasonably expected to cause substantial emotional distress or
60+financial loss to th e law enforcement officer , or to the family,
61+household member or intimate partner of the law enforcement officer.

90-financial loss to th e law enforcement officer , or to the family,
91-household member or intimate partner of the law enforcement officer.
9288 B. Except as provided in subsection C of this sec tion, any
9389 person convicted of violating the provisions of subsection A of this
9490 section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
9591 C. Any person who is convicted of a second or subsequent
9692 violation of subsection A of this section shall be guilty of a
9793 felony.
9894 D. As used in subsection A of this section:
9995 1. "Family or household member " means:
10096 a. parents, including grandparents, stepparents, adoptive
10197 parents and foster parents ,
10298 b. children, including grandchildren, stepchildren,
10399 adopted children and foster children, and
104100 c. persons otherwise related by blood or marriage living
105101 in the same household;
106102 2. "Law enforcement officer " means any officer, agent or
107103 employee of the state, a unit of local government , or federally
108104 recognized American Indian tribe, authorized by law or by a
109105 government agency to engage in or supervise the prevention ,
110106 detection or investigation of any violation of criminal law ; and
111107 3. "Personally identifiable information " includes, but is not
112108 limited to:
