BILL NO. 2531 By: Walke of the House

Hicks of the Senate
An Act relating to state government; prohibiting
awarding of state contracts to certain entities;
providing for codification; and providing an
effective date.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLA HOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as S ection 9040 of Title 74, unless there
is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
No state contract or subcontra ct shall be awarded to any
individual or entity or subsidiary of an entity that represents a
state official, a campaign for elective state office, or a campaign
for a state initiative or referend um.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effecti ve November 1, 2022.
