4040 An Act relating to schools; requiring educational

4848 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
4949 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
5050 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 3249 of Title 70, unless there
5151 is created a duplica tion in numbering, reads as follows:
5252 All state educational institutions within the Oklahoma State
5353 System of Higher Education shall make at least one full -time staff
5454 member available to notarize ballots during designated absentee
5555 voting periods. The employee must be available during normal
5656 business hours and their availability to notarize ballots shall be
5757 widely advertised to the campus community no less than ten (10) days
5858 before the absentee voting period.
5959 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2021.
