BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 510A of Title 57, unless there is created a duplication in n umbering, reads as follows: A. There is hereby created in the State Treasury a revolving fund for the Department of Corrections to be designated the "Department of Corrections Offender Management System Revolving HB2909 HFLR Page 2 BOLD FACE denotes Committee Amendments. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 Fund". The fund shall be a continuing fun d, not subject to fiscal year limitations, and shall consist of all monies directed for deposit by law. All monies accruing to the credit of said fund are hereby appropriated and may be budgeted and expended by the Department of Corrections for the purpos e of implementing and administering an offender management system. Expenditures from said fund shall be made upon warrants issued by the State Treasurer against claims filed as prescribed by law with the Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise Services for approval and payment. SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
