5667 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLA HOMA:
5768 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
5869 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1-111 of Title 11, unless there
5970 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
60-In addition to any other requirement of l aw for a city or town
61-to publish a notice in a newspaper, the city or town may make the
62-same information as required to be contained in the newspaper
63-publication available on a website maintained by or on behalf of the
64-city or town for a period of time equal to the perio ds of time
65-during which the information is required to be contained in a

98+In addition to any other requirement of l aw for a city or town
99+to publish a notice in a newspaper, the city or town shall make the
100+same information as required to be contained in the newspaper
101+publication available on a website maintained by or on behalf of the
102+city or town for a period of time equal to the perio ds of time
103+during which the information is required to be contained in a
92104 newspaper publication beginning with the first publication date and
93105 ending with the last publica tion date. A city or town may allow the
94106 information to be available on the web site for a longer period of
95107 time and shall maintain records of the information on the website
96108 for a period of one (1) year from the latest date a s of which the
97109 information was required to be displayed on the website. No power
98110 interruption or hardw are or software failure related to the website
99111 or the website information shall be a basis to invalidate the action
100112 or proceeding the notice of which is required to be displayed on the
101113 website. No power interruption or hardware or software failure with
102114 respect to the computer system, cellular phone, tablet, or any other
103115 portable device used to access the information on the municipal
104116 website by any person or legal entity shall be the basis to
105117 invalidate the action or proceeding notice of which is req uired to
106118 be displayed on the municipal website.
107119 SECTION 2. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
108120 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1-112 of Title 11, unless there
109121 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

111-city or town, if the publication requirement involves a daily
112-newspaper and the newspaper is published for fewer than five (5)
113-days in the time period prior to the action or proceeding for which
114-the publication is requ ired, the newspaper may satisfy the

149+With respect to any publication requirement imposed by law for a

148161 website.
149162 SECTION 3. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
