40	40	An Act relating to state government; directing the
41	41	Office of Management and Enterprise Services to
42	42	collect justice system dat a; directing OMES to
43	43	prepare report; authorizing OMES to promulgate
44	44	necessary rules; providing for codification; and

52	52	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
53	53	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new sect ion of law to be codified
54	54	in the Oklahoma Statutes as 115 of 74, unless there is created a
55	55	duplication in numbering, read s as follows:
56	56	A. The Office of Management and Enterprise Se rvices shall be
57	57	tasked with the collection of the follow ing data from the Department
58	58	of Corrections, district courts, district attorneys, public
59	59	defenders, and county jail administrators:
60	60	1. The percentage of cases ending in guilty pleas ;
61	61	2. The percentage of people held in pretrial custody because
62	62	they cannot afford bail ;
63	63	3. The number of dismissed cases;

91	91	5. The average time of jail stays ; and
92	92	6. The amount of times courts are utilizing alternative
93	93	sentencing.
94	94	B. The Office of Management and Enterprise Services shall take
95	95	the collected data and compile it to produce a biannual report to be
96	96	made accessible to the public online.
97	97	C. The Office of Management and Enterprise Services shall be
98	98	granted the authority to promulgate rules necessary to carry out
99	99	this act.
100	100	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
