51	48		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
52	49		SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
53	50		in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1-534.01 of Title 63, unless
54	51		there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
55	52		Any specimen collected pursuant to the newborn screening program
56	53		set forth in Sections 1-533 and 1-534 of Title 63 of the Oklahoma
57	54		Statutes shall be evaluated by a l aboratory and the results reported
58	55		to the screening hospital or physician within forty -eight (48) hours
59	56		of the collection of such specimen .
60	57		SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
