5148 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5249 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
5350 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1-534.01 of Title 63, unless
5451 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
5552 Any specimen collected pursuant to the newborn screening program
5653 set forth in Sections 1-533 and 1-534 of Title 63 of the Oklahoma
5754 Statutes shall be evaluated by a l aboratory and the results reported
5855 to the screening hospital or physician within forty -eight (48) hours
5956 of the collection of such specimen .
6057 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
