BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 528.9 of Title 57, unless there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: A. The Department of Corrections shall provide minimum administrative staff sufficient to ensure continuous and appropriate supervision of all correctional officers at all facilities of the Department according to the profile of each individual facility . When establishing the administrative staff to correctional officer ratio, the Department shall consider the follo wing: 1. Levels of security and classifications of inmates at each facility; Req. Any other considerations that would require additional administrative staff at each facility. B. Beginning November 1, 2022, the Department shall be required to have a minimum ratio of one administrative staff employee to every twenty correctional officers for each facility. C. The Department shall publish on the homepage of its Internet website a report listing each ratio of administrative staff to correctional officers for every facility of the Department. SECTION 2.
