104 | 104 | | SECTION 2. AMENDATORY 47 O.S. 20 21, Section 14-101, is |

---|
155 | 155 | | required by this section. |

156 | 156 | | D. All size, weight and load provisions cover ed by this chapter |
---|
157 | 157 | | shall be subject to the limitat ions imposed by Title 23, United |
---|
158 | 158 | | States Code, Section 127, and such other rules and regulations |
---|
159 | 159 | | developed herein. Provided further that any s ize and weight |
---|
160 | 160 | | provision authorized by the United States Congres s for use on the |
---|
161 | 161 | | National System of Interstate and Defense Highways, including, but |
---|
162 | 162 | | not limited to, height, axle weight, gross weight, combinations of |

201 | 201 | | F. Any vehicle permitted for movement on the highways of this |
---|
202 | 202 | | state as provided in Section 14-101 et seq. of this title, other |
---|
203 | 203 | | than a vehicle permitted solely for overweight mov ement, shall be |
---|
204 | 204 | | moved only during daylight hours. As used in Section 14 -101 et seq. |
---|
205 | 205 | | of this title, "daylight hours" shall mean one-half (1/2) hour |
---|
206 | 206 | | before sunrise to one-half (1/2) hour after sunset. The |
---|
207 | 207 | | Commissioner of Public Safety Executive Director of the Department |
---|
208 | 208 | | of Transportation, for good cause and consistent with the sa fe |
---|
209 | 209 | | movement of the vehicle, may endorse a pe rmit for the movement of an |
---|
210 | 210 | | oversize vehicle to authorize night time nighttime travel under such |
---|
211 | 211 | | terms and restrictions as the Commissioner Executive Director of the |
---|
212 | 212 | | Department of Transportation may require. |
---|
213 | 213 | | G. 1. Any vehicle permitted for movement on the highways of |
---|
214 | 214 | | this state as provided in Section 14-101 et seq. of this title shall |
---|
215 | 215 | | not be moved at any time on the following holidays: |
---|
216 | 216 | | a. New Year’s Day (January 1), |
---|
217 | 217 | | b. Memorial Day (the last Monday in May), |
---|

257 | 257 | | SECTION 3. AMENDATORY 47 O.S. 2021, Section 14-103, is |
---|

---|
300 | 300 | | The provisions of this subsect ion shall not apply to any person |
---|
301 | 301 | | engaged in the hauli ng of round baled hay with a tot al outside width |
---|
302 | 302 | | of eleven (11) feet or less when the hay is owned by such person and |
---|
303 | 303 | | is being hauled for any pur pose other than resale. The provisions |
---|
304 | 304 | | of this subsection shall also not apply to any county official or |
---|
305 | 305 | | employee engaged in the hauling or pu lling of a trailer or equipment |
---|
306 | 306 | | owned by the county on the county roa ds of such county. |
---|
307 | 307 | | B. Except as otherwise p rovided for by this chapter: |
---|
308 | 308 | | 1. No vehicle, with or with out load, shall exceed a height of |
---|
309 | 309 | | thirteen and one-half (13 1/2) feet on any county r oad, or fourteen |
---|
310 | 310 | | (14) feet on any turnpike, interstate, U.S. or state highway, unless |
---|
311 | 311 | | a greater height is authori zed by a special permit issued by the |
---|
312 | 312 | | Commissioner of Public Safety Executive Director of the Department |
---|
313 | 313 | | of Transportation or an authorized representative of the |
---|
314 | 314 | | Commissioner in consultation with the Department of Transportation |

315 | 315 | | specifying the highways to be used, c onsistent with public |

354 | 354 | | vehicle or load exceeding the posted height;. |

355 | 355 | | C. Except as otherwise provided for by this chapter: |

356 | 356 | | 1. No single truck, with or without load, sh all have an overall |
---|
357 | 357 | | length, inclusive of front and rear bumpers, in excess of forty-five |
---|

749 | 749 | | purposes" means a manufactured home owned by any lawfully recog nized |

750 | 750 | | business entity the primary purpose of whi ch is to provide temporary |
---|
751 | 751 | | housing for the employees or contractors of such business entity. |
---|
752 | 752 | | D. For the purposes of subs ections A and C of t his section, a |
---|
753 | 753 | | manufactured home registration receipt and Manufactu red Home |
---|
754 | 754 | | Registration Decal attached to a certif icate of title for a |
---|
755 | 755 | | manufactured home or receipts and d ecal as authorized by subsection |
---|
756 | 756 | | C of Section 1117 of this title shall be evidence of payment of the |
---|
757 | 757 | | excise tax and registration fees required pursuant to the provisions |

1101 | 1101 | | manufacturer of portable buildings. An annual vehicle pe rmit issued |

1102 | 1102 | | under this subsection may not be transferred from one vehicle to |

1103 | 1103 | | another vehicle in the fleet. The name of the manufacturer shall be |

1104 | 1104 | | on the permit and on any portable building be ing moved. The |

1105 | 1105 | | original certified permit shall be carried in the vehicle that is |
---|
1106 | 1106 | | being operated under the terms of the permit. |
