2653 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

2854 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 29 O.S. 2021, Section 7 -304, is
2955 amended to read as follows:

3156 Section 7-304. A. Except as otherwise provided by law, no
3257 person may enter upon any state or federal wildlif e refuge or
3358 Wildlife Management Area with dog, gun or bo w.

3559 B. Exceptions to the above provisions are when the Oklahoma
3660 Wildlife Conservation Commission and/or the Oklahoma Tourism and
3761 Recreation Commission may by resolution permit:

3962 1. The holding of fiel d trials by duly authorized sportsmen's

4291 2. Such hunting, killing or trapping of wildlife from such
4392 refuge or Wildlife Management Area; provided, however, that Lake
4493 Murray State Park shall not be utilized for killing or trapping of
4594 natural wildlife and shall remain a wildlife preserve.

4795 C. Any person convicted of violating provisions of this section
4896 shall be punished by a fine of not less than Twenty-five Dollars
4997 ($25.00) One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) nor more than One Hundred
5098 Dollars ($100.00) One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), or by
5199 imprisonment in the county jail for not less than ten (10) days nor
52100 more than thirty (30) days, or by both such fine a nd imprisonment
53101 for the first violation. A subsequent violation shall result in the
54102 suspension of privileges to hunt , kill, or trap within such refuge
55103 or Wildlife Management Area.

57104 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2022.

59105 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
60106 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
61107 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
62108 be in full force from and after its p assage and approval.
