26 | 53 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: | |

28 | 54 | SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 29 O.S. 2021, Section 7 -304, is | |
29 | 55 | amended to read as follows: | |

31 | 56 | Section 7-304. A. Except as otherwise provided by law, no | |
32 | 57 | person may enter upon any state or federal wildlif e refuge or | |
33 | 58 | Wildlife Management Area with dog, gun or bo w. | |

35 | 59 | B. Exceptions to the above provisions are when the Oklahoma | |
36 | 60 | Wildlife Conservation Commission and/or the Oklahoma Tourism and | |
37 | 61 | Recreation Commission may by resolution permit: | |

39 | 62 | 1. The holding of fiel d trials by duly authorized sportsmen's | |

42 | 91 | 2. Such hunting, killing or trapping of wildlife from such | |
43 | 92 | refuge or Wildlife Management Area; provided, however, that Lake | |
44 | 93 | Murray State Park shall not be utilized for killing or trapping of | |
45 | 94 | natural wildlife and shall remain a wildlife preserve. | |

48 | 96 | shall be punished by a fine of not less than Twenty-five Dollars | |
49 | 97 | ($25.00) One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) nor more than One Hundred | |
50 | 98 | Dollars ($100.00) One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), or by | |
51 | 99 | imprisonment in the county jail for not less than ten (10) days nor | |
52 | 100 | more than thirty (30) days, or by both such fine a nd imprisonment | |
53 | 101 | for the first violation. A subsequent violation shall result in the | |
54 | 102 | suspension of privileges to hunt , kill, or trap within such refuge | |
55 | 103 | or Wildlife Management Area. | |

57 | 104 | SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2022. | |

59 | 105 | SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation | |
60 | 106 | of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby | |
61 | 107 | declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and | |
62 | 108 | be in full force from and after its p assage and approval. | |
