45	40		An Act relating to schools; authorizing school

57	54		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
58	55		SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
59	56		in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 11-103.15 of Title 70, unless
60	57		there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
61	58		A. A school district may offer to students in grades eleven and
62	59		twelve an elective course in law enforcement.
63	60		B. The law enforcement elective course shall include, at a
64	61		minimum:
65	62		1. A general introduction to law enforcement training;

96	92		C. The State Board of Education may coordinate with the Council
97	93		on Law Enforcement Education and Trai ning to develop instructional
98	94		materials and curricula for schools to use in the law enforcement
99	95		elective course. The Board may promulgate rules to implement the
100	96		provisions of this section.
101	97		SECTION 2. This act shall become effective Novemb er 1, 2022.
