49	55		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPL E OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
50	56		SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be
51	57		codified in the Oklahoma Statute s reads as follows:
52	58		This act shall be known and may be cited as the "Judge Timothy
53	59		R. Henderson Act".
54	60		SECTION 2. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
55	61		in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 593 of Title 21, unless there is
56	62		created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
57	63		A. It shall be unlawful for a judge of any court in this state
58	64		to engage in a sexual relationship with a lawyer who is:
59		-	1. Representing a client in a civil or criminal action or
60		-	proceeding; or

	92	+	1. Representing a client in a civil or criminal action or

87	94		2. Prosecuting a criminal case on behalf of the state or
88	95		municipality,
89	96		then pending or about to be brought before the same judge. A judge
90	97		who violates the provisions of this section shall, upon conviction,
91	98		be guilty of a felony p unishable by imprisonment in the c ustody of
92	99		the Department of Corrections for a term of not more than two (2)
93	100		years, or a fine of not less than Five Tho usand Dollars ($5,00 0.00)
94	101		and not to exceed One Hundred Th ousand Dollars ($100,000.00), or by
95	102		both such fine and imprison ment.
96	103		B. As used in this section, "sexual relationship" means an
97	104		established course of sexua l relations.
98	105		SECTION 3. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
