55 | 52 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLA HOMA: |

56 | 53 | | SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified |
---|
57 | 54 | | in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 3402 of Title 63, unless there |
---|
58 | 55 | | is created a duplication in numbering, re ads as follows: |

59 | 56 | | A. If an employer requires any vacc ination as a prerequisite |
---|
60 | 57 | | for employment, and that vaccination was not reasonably foreseeable |
---|
61 | 58 | | at the time the job position was retained, such employer shall be |
---|
62 | 59 | | required to offer exemptions from the mandatory vaccination |
---|
63 | 60 | | requirements. The exemptions shall include: |

64 | 61 | | 1. An individual having a moral or religious tenet which |
---|
65 | 62 | | opposes vaccination; or |
---|

99 | 95 | | employee shall not be required to receive any vaccinations without |

100 | 96 | | the written permission of a parent or guardian. |

101 | 97 | | SECTION 2. It being immediate ly necessary for the preservation |
---|
102 | 98 | | of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby |
---|
103 | 99 | | declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and |
---|
104 | 100 | | be in full force from and after its passage an d approval. |
