5050 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5151 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A n ew section of law to be codified
5252 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 530 of Title 19, unless there is
5353 created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
5454 A. A county may designate one or more hospitals within the
5555 county to determine whether or not it is medically advisable for an
5656 arrestee to be housed in the county jail.
5757 B. If such a designated hospital deems it medically inadvisable
5858 for an arrestee to be housed in the county jail, then the county
5959 shall not be required to house such arrestee.
6060 C. Nothing in this section shall preclude a county from
6161 agreeing to house an arrestee in the county ja il or in another
