| 28 | 28 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: |

| 29 | 29 | | SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codifi ed |

| 30 | 30 | | in the Oklahoma Statutes as Sectio n 3231 of Title 70, unless there |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: |

| 32 | 32 | | A. An institution of higher education within The Oklahoma State |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | System of Higher Education may require employees to complete |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | training or professional development on the following topics : |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 1. Sexual harassment; |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 2. General safety and haz ard communications; |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 3. Fire safety; and |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 4. Conflicts of interest. Req. No. 10182 Page 2 |

| 39 | 39 | | B. An institution of higher education within The Oklahoma State |
|---|
| 40 | 40 | | System of Higher Education may provide employees with optional |
|---|
| 41 | 41 | | training or professional development on other topics as deemed |
|---|
| 42 | 42 | | appropriate by the governing board of regents for the instituti on. |
|---|
| 43 | 43 | | C. The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Educatio n shall |
|---|
| 44 | 44 | | promulgate rules to implement the provisions of this act. |
|---|
| 45 | 45 | | SECTION 2. This act shall be come effective July 1, 2022. |
|---|
| 46 | 46 | | SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation |
|---|
| 47 | 47 | | of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby |
|---|
| 48 | 48 | | declared to exist, by reason whereof th is act shall take effect and |
|---|
| 49 | 49 | | be in full force from and after its passage and approval. |
