4247 An Act relating to crimes and punishments; making
4348 certain acts unlawful; providing penalty; providing

5055 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5156 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
5257 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1740.3 of Title 21, unless there
5358 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
5459 Any person who has previously been convicted of larceny of a
5560 catalytic converter and who has in his or her possession, custody,
5661 or concealed about his or her person, or transports or causes to be
5762 transported, any combination of two or more of the following tools:
5863 1. Battery-powered reciprocating saw;
5964 2. Reciprocating saw blades;
6065 3. Pliers;
61-4. Wrenches; or
62-5. Vehicle jack,

94+5. Vehicle jack,
8995 with the intent to use or emplo y, or allow the same to be used or
9096 employed, in the commission of a crime, or knowing that the tools
9197 are to be used in the commission of a crime shall, upon conviction,
9298 be guilty of a felony.
9399 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
