5252 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
5353 AND THE SENATE OF THE 1ST SESSION OF THE 58TH OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE:
5454 SECTION 1. The Secretary of State shall refer to the people for
5555 their approval or rejection, as and in the manner provided by law,
5656 the repeal of Section 2 of Article XX of the Constitution of the
5757 State of Oklahoma which relates to flash tests and specific gravity
5858 tests for kerosene oil.
5959 SECTION 2. The Ballot Title for the proposed Constitutional
6060 amendment as set forth in SECTION 1 of this resolution shall be in

9090 THE GIST OF THE PROPOSITION IS AS FOLLOWS:
9191 This measure amends the Oklahoma Constitution. It repeals
9292 Section 2 of Article 20. It would eliminate a requirement that the
9393 flash test for kerosene oil used for lighting purposes be at 115
9494 degrees Fahrenheit and the gravity test at 40 degrees Baume.
