49	40		A Joint Resolution directing the Secretary of State
50	41		to refer to the people for their approval or
51	42		rejection a proposed amendment to the Constitution of
52	43		the State of Oklahoma by adding a new section to
53	44		Article III to be designated as Section 6; providing
54	45		for the consideration of votes when determining
55	46		results of certain elections ; providing ballot title;

61	52		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
62	53		SECTION 1. The Secretary of State shall refer to the people for
63	54		their approval or rejection, as and in the manner provided by law,
64	55		the following proposed amendment to the Constitution of the State of
65	56		Oklahoma by adding a new Section 6 to Article III thereof, to read
66	57		as follows:
67	58		Only the votes of citizens of the United States, who are bona
68	59		fide residents of Oklahoma, shall be considered when determining the
	60	+	result of an election for any public office, including electors for
	61	+	President of the United States.

99	89		amendment as set forth in SECTION 1 of this resolution shall be in

103	93		THE GIST OF THE PROPOSITION IS AS FOLLOWS:
104	94		This measure adds a new section to the Oklahoma Constitution.
105	95		It provides that only votes of citizens of the United States who
106	96		are residents of Oklahoma shall be considered in determi ning the
107	97		results of an election.
