5352 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESEN TATIVES AND THE SENATE OF THE
5453 2ND SESSION OF THE 58TH OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE:
5554 SECTION 1. The Secretary of State shall refer to the people for
5655 their approval or rejection, as and in the manner provided by la w,
5756 the following proposed amendment to Section 1 of Article III of the
5857 Oklahoma Constitution to read as follows:
5958 Section 1. Subject to such exceptions as th e Legislature may
6059 prescribe, all only citizens of the United States , over the age of
6160 eighteen (18) years, who are bona fide residents of this state, are
6261 qualified electors of this state , who upon providing valid
6362 identification issued by the United States, the State of Oklahom a,
6463 or the government of a federally recognized Indian tribe or nation ,

10098 THE GIST OF THE PROPOSITION IS AS FOLLOWS:
10199 This measure amends Section 1 of Article 3 of the Oklahoma
