AS INTRODUCED 
 
A Joint Resolution related to the provisions of 
Enrolled House Joint Resolution No. 1043 of the 2nd 
Session of the 56th Oklahoma Legislature; modif ying 
provisions; repealing termination date; and directing 
filing. 
 
 
 
 
 
WHEREAS, one of the provisions of Enrolled House Joint 
Resolution No. 1043 of the 2nd Session of the 56th Oklahoma 
Legislature contained a termination date ; and 
WHEREAS, the Legislature has reconsidered the circumstances 
involving the matters which were memorialized in the content of the 
Joint Resolution; and 
WHEREAS, the Legislature through this Joint Resolution exp resses 
its intent to remove the refer ence to the termination of the 
provisions of Enrolled House Joint Resolution No. 1043 of the 2nd 
Session of the 56th Oklahoma Legislature.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES 
OF THE 2ND SESSION OF THE 58TH OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE, THE SE NATE 
CONCURRING THEREIN: 
THAT the clause which would have caused the provisions of 
Enrolled House Joint Resolution No. 1043 of th e 2nd Session of the 
56th Oklahoma Legislature to terminate December 31, 2023, is 
repealed and nullified. 
THAT the Chief Clerk of the House of Repre sentatives, 
immediately after the p assage of this resolution, shall prepare and 
file one copy thereof with the Secretary of State and one copy with 
the Attorney General and transmit copi es to the President and 
Secretary of the United S tates Senate and to t he Speaker and Clerk 
of the United States House of Representatives, to the members of the 
Oklahoma Congressional Delegation, and to the presiding officers of 
each of the legislative hous es in the several states, requesting 
their cooperation.
