49 | 75 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: | |
50 | 76 | SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified | |
51 | 77 | in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1450.1 of Title 12, unless there | |
52 | 78 | is created a duplication in numb ering, reads as follows: | |
53 | 79 | Any entity operating under the protections of a platfo rm as | |
54 | 80 | defined by the Communications Decency Act, 47 U.S.C. Section 230 , | |
55 | 81 | that engages in censorship activities consistent with the definition | |
56 | 82 | of a publisher or that removes content that is not prohibited by law | |
57 | 83 | shall be fined Ten Thousand Dollars ( $10,000.00) per each instance. | |
58 | 84 | Any entity that has a business facility or subsidiary in this state | |
59 | 85 | and receives any tax break, subsidy , exemption or incentive shall be | |
60 | 86 | ineligible to receive s uch benefits for any year in which t hey have | |
61 | 87 | engaged in censorship activities . The Attorney General shall be | |
62 | - | responsible for the enforcement of this section. Any fines received | |
