7979 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
8080 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Oklahoma
8181 Department of Transportation from any monies not otherwise
8282 appropriated from the General Revenue F und of the State Treasur y for
8383 the fiscal year ending June 30, 202 2, the sum of One Hundred
8484 Thousand Dollars ($100,00 0.00) or so much thereof as may be
8585 necessary to perform the duties imposed upon the Oklahoma Department
8686 of Transportation by law.
8787 SECTION 2. Appropriations made by this act, not including
8888 appropriations made for capital outlay purposes, ma y be budgeted for

140140 the fiscal year ending June 30, 202 2 (hereafter FY-22), or may be
141141 budgeted for the fiscal year ending Jun e 30, 2023 (hereafter FY-23).
142142 Funds budgeted for FY-22 may be encumbered only thr ough June 30,
143143 2022, and must be expended by Novembe r 15, 2022. Any funds
144144 remaining after November 15, 202 2, and not budgeted for FY -23, shall
145145 lapse to the credit of the prope r fund for the then current fiscal
146146 year. Funds budgeted for FY-23 may be encumbered only through June
147147 30, 2023. Any funds remainin g after November 15, 202 3, shall lapse
148148 to the credit of the proper fund for the then current fiscal year.
149149 These appropriations may not be budgeted in both fisc al years
150150 simultaneously. Funds budgeted in F Y-22 and not required to pay
151151 obligations for that f iscal year, may be budgeted for FY -23, after
152152 the agency to which the funds have been appropriated has prepared
153153 and submitted a budget work program revision remo ving these funds
154154 from the FY-22 budget work program and after such revision has been
155155 approved by the Office of Management and Enterprise Services.
156156 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preser vation
157157 of the public peace, health o r safety, an emergency is hereby
158158 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
159159 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
