7777 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHO MA:
7878 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
7979 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1-502.5 of Title 63, unless
8080 there is created a duplication in number ing, reads as follows:
8181 A. This act shall be known and may be cited as the Vaccine
8282 Mandate Prohibition Bill.
8383 B. As used in this section, "covered entity" means:
8484 1. A state agency;
8585 2. A political subdivision ;
8686 3. Any entity that accepts funds from the state, the federal
8787 government, or a political subdivision from whatever source derived;

139139 4. Any entity that employs indivi duals who are required by the
140140 state or a political subdivision to have licensure or certification
141141 issued by a state agency;
142142 5. Any hospital licensed by the State Department of Healt h; or
143143 6. Any private entity .
144144 C. A covered entity or agent of a covered entity shall not
145145 require the receipt of any vaccine used to prevent infection by any
146146 current or future variant of SARS-CoV-2 or the development of
147147 Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) for any reason including but not
148148 limited to as a condit ion of employment, profe ssional licensure,
149149 educational admittance, certification or degree, admittance to any
150150 place of business or entertainment , or access to any mode of
151151 transportation.
152152 D. A covered entity or agent of a covered entity shall not
153153 discriminate against, punish, demote, or isolate any employee of the
154154 covered entity based on whether the employee has received a vaccine
155155 used to prevent infection by any current or future variant of SARS-
156156 CoV-2 or the development of COVID-19.
157157 E. A covered entity or agent of a covered entity shall not be
158158 liable in a civil action claiming an injury from exposure or
159159 potential exposure to any current or future variant of SARS-CoV-2 or
160160 from the development of COVID-19 if the act or omission alleged to
161161 violate a duty of care of the covered entity or agent of the covered
162162 entity was in compliance with this section.

214214 SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
215215 of the public peace, health or s afety, an emergency is hereby
216216 declared to exist, b y reason whereof this act shall take effect and
217217 be in full force from and after its pa ssage and approval.
