55	48		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STA TE OF OKLAHOMA:
56	49		SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 74 O.S . 2021, Section 3601.1, is
57	50		amended to read as follows:
58	51		Section 3601.1. A. For purposes of Sections 3601. 1 through
59	52		3603 of this title, the term “employee” means a full-time employee
60	53		or any number of part-time employees whose combined weekly hours of
61	54		employment equal those of a full-time employee, but shall not
62	55		include temporary employees working on a seasonal basis between May
63	56		1 and October 31.
64	57		B. Beginning July 1, 2008, the maximum num ber of full-time-
65	58		equivalent employees for each of the following agencies, boards,
	59	+	commissions, departments, or programs shall not exceed the numbers
	60	+	specified in this section, except as may be authorized pursuant to
	61	+	the provisions of Section 3603 of this t itle.

197	187		C. The duties and compensation of employees, not otherwise
198	188		prescribed by law, necessary to perform the duties impo sed upon the
199	189		Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System Board of Trustees by law
200	190		shall be set by the Board of Trustees.
201	191		D. Temporary employees of the Oklahoma Used Motor Vehicle and
202	192		Parts Commission between the dates of November 1 and January 31
203	193		annually shall not be counted toward the maximum number of full-
204	194		time-equivalent employees provided for in this section.
205	195		SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2022.
206	196		SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the pre servation
207	197		of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
208	198		declared to exist, by reason whereof thi s act shall take effect and
209	199		be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
