65	65	An Act relating to student transfers; amending 70
66	66	O.S. 2021, Section 8-113, which relates to the
67	67	transfer of a student whose parent or legal guardian
68	68	is a teacher; allowing the transfer of a student
69	69	whose parent or legal guardian is a support employee;
70	70	providing an effective date ; and declaring an

77	77	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
78	78	SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 70 O.S. 20 21, Section 8-113, is
79	79	amended to read as follows:
80	80	Section 8-113. A student shall be allowed to transfer to a
81	81	school district in which the parent or legal guardian of the student
82	82	is employed as a teacher, as defined in Section 1 -116 of this title,
83	83	or as a support employee, as defined by Section 6 -101.40 of this
84	84	title.
85	85	SECTION 2. This act shall become effe ctive July 1, 2022.
86	86	SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
87	87	of the public peace, health , or safety, an emergency is hereby
