49	75		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
50	76		SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 59 O.S. 2021, Section 1354, is
51	77		amended to read as fo llows:
52	78		Section 1354. There is hereby re-created, to continue until
53	79		July 1, 2023, pursuant t o the provisions of the Oklahoma Sunset Law,
54	80		the State Board of Examiners of Psychologists. The Board shall
55	81		administer the provisions of the Psychologists Licensin g Act. The
56	82		Board shall consist of seven (7) members appointed by the Governor.
57	83		Five members shall be psychologists from various areas in psychology
58	84		and two members shall be lay persons. At the expi ration of the term
59	85		of each Board member who is a psychologist, the Governor shall
60	86		appoint a successor from a list of ten licensed psychologists whic h
61	87		is provided by the Oklahoma State Psychological Association .

	139	+	Members shall serve for a term of four (4) y ears and until a
90	140		successor is appointed and qualified. Before entering upon the
91	141		duties of office, each member of the Board shall take the
92	142		constitutional oath of office and file it with the Secretary of
93	143		State.
94		-	SECTION 2. AMENDATORY 59 O. S. 2021, Section 135 7, is
95		-	amended to read as follows:
96		-	Section 1357. After giving the member a written statement of
97		-	the charges and an opportunity to be heard thereon, the Governor may
98		-	remove any member of the Board for misconduct, incompetency, or
99		-	neglect of duty. Any vacancy in the membership of the Board shall
100		-	be filled by the Governor for the unexpired term . If there is a
101		-	vacancy in the psychologist membership of the Board, the Governor
102		-	shall fill it from a list of ten (10) psychologists which is
103		-	provided by the Oklahoma State Psychological Association .
104		-	SECTION 3. This act shall become ef fective November 1, 2022.
