29	55		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

31	56		SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section o f law to be codified
32	57		in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1-233.1 of Title 63, unless
33	58		there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

35	59		A. This section shall be known and may be cited as Ava’s Law.
36		-
37	60		B. All persons licensed t o practice medicine and surgery in
38	61		this state, or who are Advanced Practice Registered Nurses including
39	62		but not limited to Certified N urse-Midwives, and who provide
40	63		prenatal, delivery, infant care services, and other child or adult
41	64		health services related to maternal and infant care shall provide to
42	65		individuals who report to such person that they are pregnant the

51	97		1. Infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation and basic first aid
52	98		including contact information for training programs; and

54	99		2. Cord blood banking and donation.

56	100		SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
