65	65	An Act relating to higher education; allowing certain
66	66	institutions of higher educatio n to require employees
67	67	to complete training or pro fessional development on
68	68	certain topics; allowing certain institutions of
69	69	higher education to provide optional training or
70	70	professional topics on other topics; provi ding for
71	71	promulgation of rules; providing for codification;
72	72	providing an effective date; an d declaring an

79	79	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
80	80	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codifi ed
81	81	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Sectio n 3231 of Title 70, unless there
82	82	is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
83	83	A. An institution of higher education within T he Oklahoma State
84	84	System of Higher Education may require employees to complete
85	85	training or professional development on the following topics :
86	86	1. Sexual harassment;
87	87	2. General safety and haz ard communications;
88	88	3. Fire safety; and
89	89	4. Conflicts of interest.

141	141	B. An institution of higher education within The Oklahoma State
142	142	System of Higher Education may provide employees with optional
143	143	training or professional development on other topics as deemed
144	144	appropriate by the governing board of regents for the instituti on.
145	145	C. The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Educatio n shall
146	146	promulgate rules to implement the provisions of this act.
147	147	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2022.
148	148	SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
149	149	of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
150	150	declared to exist, by reason whereof th is act shall take effect and
151	151	be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
